Lars Klingbeil

Lars Klingbeil (SPD Germany) is Vice Chancellor of Germany and Federal Minister of Finance and co-leader of the SPD. From 2017 to 2021 he was Secretary General of the Social Democratic Party of Germany. He organized the coalition negotiations in 2018 and 2021, implemented and initiated many renewal processes within the Party and organized the very successful 2021 federal election campaign as campaign manager for the SPD. Since December 2021 he is the Party Leader of the SPD together with Saskia Esken.
