Enric López Jurado

Born in Barcelona in 1992. Since 2019, he works as an advisor to Member of the European Parliament Javi López, as the responsible for the Foreign Affairs committee, the Security and Defense subcommittee and the delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly. 

He has a degree in Political Sciences and Administration with a specialty in International Relations from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, and a master’s degree in Security, Leadership and Society from King’s College London. He has done traineeships in the Consulate General of Spain in San Francisco and in the European Parliament in Brussels. He completed his training with a course on economic development in the summer school of the London School of Economics, participating in the III National Defense Course for young people of the CESEDEN-Ministry of Defense of Spain, and taking an executive course on cybersecurity at the Harvard Kennedy School.

He has previously been an advisor to the socialist group in the Parliament of Catalonia and responsible for the Parliamentary Office of MEP Javi López in Barcelona. Between 2015 and 2021 he was the International Secretary of the Joventut Socialista de Catalunya. Between 2019 to 2023 he was vice president of the Young European Socialists, of which he is its President since the last Congress in October.
