Elio Di Rupo

Elio Di Rupo, who holds a doctorate in sciences, is currently Minister-President of Wallonia. He was Prime Minister of Belgium.
He chaired the French-speaking Belgian Socialist Party for 20 years.
His knowledge of international issues, particularly European ones, is widely recognized.
As part of the Belgian Presidency of the EU, Elio chairs the General Affairs Council / Cohesion.
In the forthcoming European elections, Elio will lead the list of the French-speaking Socialist Party of Belgium.
