Hana Jalloul

Hana Jalloul Muro is a Spanish politician and academic. She currently serves as Secretary of International Politics and Cooperation in the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) and is Vice-President of the Socialist International. Candidate from Madrid region as MP to the national Congress of deputies. Previously, she served as member of Madrid Parliament, spokesperson of the parliamentary group at the Assembly of Madrid, Secretary of State for Migrations from 2020 to 2021.
She is a lecturer, teaching in the dual bachelor’s in international studies Politics: International Relations and comparative politics; Department of Social Sciences, at University Carlos III. She has also been a lecturer at the University of Nebrija teaching the culture, history and institutions of the EU. She taught on international terrorism and Political Theory and Ideologies, Introduction to Politics and Political Analysis I at Carlos III University. Most of her publications and conferences are related to migration issues, preventing violent extremism and radicalization, Islamic law, moderate and radical Islamism, deconstruction of jihadist narratives and international politics.
