Iratxe García Pérez

Iratxe Garcia Perez (PSOE, Spain) has been the President of the S&D Group in the European Parliament since 2019. She was the Chair of the PSOE delegation in the EP from 2016 to 2019. She chaired the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality from 2014 to 2017.

1st Vice-President of the Party of European Socialists (PES) and President of the Socialists and Democrats Group in the European Parliament.
