Roberto Gualtieri

Roberto Gualtieri is the Mayor of Rome (elected 2021), Associate Professor of Contemporary History, he holds a degree in Literature and Philosophy from La Sapienza University of Rome and a PhD in Economic History. Former Member of the European Parliament in charge of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs, former Italian Minister of Economy and Finance. Mayor Gualtieri is relaunching Rome on the European and international stage and working on making Rome more sustainable, more inclusive and more innovative.
