In conversation: Leading democratic renewal

Defending the rule of law, democracy, human and fundamental rights are at the core of our political movement. The promotion of all forms of equality, and the equality of all citizens is the motor that drives our political action. The rise of the far-right is causing a real backlash against women’s rights, the rights of the LGBTI community and the rights of migrants and other minorities. Today more than ever we must stand united and lead by example. In this panel we will discuss the challenges to the rule of law, media freedom, human- and fundamental rights, a fair migration and asylum policy and how to secure plurality and freedom as key elements of democracy.
