European Forum for Democracy fringe meeting – “What’s Left in Eastern Europe?”
During the meeting, participants will debate the recommendations of the European Forum for Democracy’s publication: “What’s Left? Trends and Dynamics in Europe’s East”
Given the Russian war in Ukraine and other disturbing developments in the region this year, the European Forum regards it as extremely important to discuss what can be done to support left wing parties and movements. The meeting will take place between 11:00 and 12:00 on Friday, 14th October, in the Willy-Brandt-Haus in room 1.38. Bohdan Ferens from SD-Platform Ukraine is invited as FES’ special guest. Björn von Sydow (president of the European Forum) and Jan Marinus Wiersma (vice-president of the European Forum) will be present.
